Kayla Barbuto, the baker behind Lady K's Bake Shop, has combined her entrepreneurial spirit along with acclaimed culinary skills, to create a unique, increasingly popular and successful business.

Kayla found a passion for baking at an early age. Upon finishing high school she enrolled in nursing school, but her love for baking continued. When she began to sell cupcakes to friends and acquaintances, she realized that baking was her true passion and decided to pursue it as a career. 

In March 2012 Kayla graduated from the baking and pastry arts program at the Institute of Culinary Education right in the heart of New York City. It was there where her education and skills she acquired allowed her natural talent to flourish. Upon graduating, word of Lady K spread rapidly in her hometown of Marlboro, NJ. She decided to take advantage of the growing business opportunities coming her way.

Through hard work and dedication Kayla has been able to grow her business and provide for clients all over the Tri-State area. She has been able to produce beautiful, professional and delicious cakes all while having fun along the way. She believes these unique works of art should not only look beautiful but taste delicious, too! Focusing on wedding and specialty cakes, Kayla is able to make her client’s occasions truly memorable.  

Through sustaining a friendly relationship with her growing number of satisfied customers, the future of Lady K is sure to be sweet!
